The BMW N74 is a twin-turbocharged V12 DOHC piston engine which replaced the N73 and was produced from 2009-present (as of November 2013). ==Design== Compared with its N73 naturally-aspirated predecessor, the N74 features twin-turbochargers. The N74 engine had double overhead camshafts per cylinder with variable intake and exhaust valve timing, BMW’s double VANOS. Both the intake and exhaust VANOS or variable valve timing units had 50 degree crank angle adjustment. The N74 had four valves per cylinder and was not fitted with BMW’s ‘Valvetronic’ or variable valve lift intake system. 〔http://australiancar.reviews/bmw_N74.php〕 The engine marked BMW's first use of an 8-speed automatic transmission (the ZF 8HP90).〔http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2010-bmw-760li-second-drive〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「BMW N74」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
